Early Years Foundation Stage

Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

The Early Years Foundation Stage is a framework for learning development and care for children from birth to 5 years. It has been set up for all early year's providers to follow from September 2008. The EYFS is not a curriculum for young children, but instead is a framework that enables each child to learn through high quality play tailored to them.

Wallingford's choice

Wallingford chooses Puddleduck Nursery for early education. This is because we offer a child care service famous for aiding child development.

Our values

Puddleduck Nursery values the strategies we have in place such as our weekly planner programme, toilet training and key person system.
By following the EYFS framework through Puddleduck Nursery, we help each child to develop at their own pace, while having fun, making friends and learning as they play.

Michelle is our EYFS co-ordinator and she will be happy to answer any questions. You can also find more in depth information here.
